About Anastassia

Dr. Anastassia Lauterbach is the CEO and founder of AI Edutainment, a Swiss company that makes AI and robotics accessible to people without a background in computer science or mathematics. She teaches AI and governance at universities of applied sciences in Leipzig, Innsbruck, and Berlin, mentors global CXOs and founders, and sits on the jury of the German AI Award.

In October 2026, Anastassia launched the Global AI Literacy Study to understand what people and organizations around the world know about AI, what they understand, and what they want to learn.

She created the Romy & Roby series to introduce children and their families to AI, robotics, and quantum technologies. Her podcast, AI Snacks with Romy & Roby, and her Instagram channel, @romyandroby, bring these subjects to people from all walks of life.

Anastassia has served on supervisory and advisory boards for organizations including Star Alliance, NASDAQ, Intel, Dun & Bradstreet, easyJet, censhare, Freight One, Wirecard, and Aira Technologies.

In November 2024, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Business Excellence by the Global Business Excellence Institute in Dublin.

Anastassia speaks six languages and lives in Basel, Switzerland. She studied linguistics, computational linguistics, and psychology, and received her PhD in linguistics at the age of 24.

She speaks on global stages about AI literacy, AI capabilities and their outlook, cybersecurity, digital assets, corporate governance, leadership, and the connections between science, technology, and the humanities.
